The Isherwood Gallery, The Old Courts

 

Placement v Process is an exhibition across two venues; The Old Courts, Wigan, and Cross Street Gallery, Standish. Placement asks:  Is this work finished/unfinished/other?  Showcasing the practices of a diverse and awe-inspiring range of artists from Cross Street Arts.

An exhibition by photography group click2focus in collaboration with students from the Creative Writing A-Level course at Winstanley College. click2focusis a friendly and supportive photography group with a focus on mental health and wellbeing.

Multi-Venue, The Old Courts

 

Find works from successful borough artists all over The Old Courts building. Look out for the photo-realist works of Laura Quinn-Harris (finalist in Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year), painterly canvas works by Anthony Barrow, and sculptural works by book artist Kate Bufton, and so much more!

BYOB: Bring Your Own Beamer One-Night-Only Exhibition

Victorian Theatre, The Old Courts

 

A one-night only exhibition of artists and their projectors! BYOB: Wigan will present visual artists experimenting with film & new media in this playful exhibition set within the backdrop of a Victorian Theatre. Punctuated by live experimental sounds.

Animated Clay Stories

 FAMILY // WORKSHOP // ART   D:Circus project will be bringing a super fun animation workshop using story boards, modelling clay, iPads and the Animate it app to create short animated stories. Ages 5-11. Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
